JCDecaux IOT connectivity hosting center migration
IOT connectivity customer JCDecaux identified the opportunity to save significant OPEX by moving their hosting to a new data center. Due to the fact that JCDecaux stood to save large amounts of cash the time line was extremely tight. The migration was acheived on time. JCDecaux’s NPS score jumped from 5 to 10. (highest NPV score)
AT&T SD-WAN Static Over-the-Top (OTT)
AT&T approached me with a solution request for their ATVS (SD-WAN Static Over the ToP) service to be expanded to include a more global footprint of mobile networks. The ATVS is a highly secure mobile network based tunneling service which sets up connections and assigns IP addresses and opens firewalls on a dynamic basis reusing intrinsic network authentication (RADIUS). ATVS service now has a global footprint.
EE Roaming Network Shutoff (UK)
Using a nationally roaming SIM by Vodafone CENTRICA was able utilize the superier coverage offered by 3 networks together to ensure uninterupted service of millions of smart meters in the UK. However, EE increased the roaming fees making the service uneconomical for Vodafone. This meant that millions of live smart meters had to be migrated away from the EE network before the shutoff. This was achieved without significant service interuption for users and CENTRICA.
